Yesterday and Today

Okay, fuck the class allocation.
Yesterday I was supposed to wake up early in the morning to send my sister to school with my parents then fetch my grandfather, Aunt Jenny (grandfather's current girlfriend), Aunt Grace and Weihui and we'll go eat Bak Kut Teh! But obviously I didn't manage to wake up, slept till 9AM. I could have continued sleeping if not for my mother's incessant calls to my handphone and the house phone.
Rushed to get myself ready and Aunt Grace called the moment I finished bathing. Weihui came up to change into her casual clothes from TKGS uniform. She was freaking pissed with her different shades of green uniform. Weihui, you look okay, I am so much tooter! My mother encourages me to wear a low belt (but I don't want to 'cause I feel really uncomfortable, plus I don't wanna get booked) while Aunt Grace wants Weihui to not alter her uniform.
Got into the car and my father went off for work. My mother, Aunt Grace, Weihui and me went to Yishun to fetch my grandfather and Aunt Jenny. My grandfather's on the wheelchair now. We had Bak Kut Teh at Balestiar, or whatever the place which starts with a B. It was my first time eating it, or should I say drinking it 'cause I didn't eat the pork. It looked rough. My grandfather was seriously ill so his temper was really bad. He blamed Aunt Jenny for every little thing he didn't like, kind of unfair. I mean like, Aunt Jenny is not even married with him but she still stays by his side. But my mother said we should give in to him. Oh wells.
After that my grandfather wanted to go to some Zhong Ming Shan or something to visit his mother, my great grandmother. Of course the small wooden tablet thing Buddhists use. Few hundreds of tablets were arranged in this area. And my great grandmother's tablet is at one of the back rows. So we didn't get to see our great grandmother's face. Practically me and Weihui sat on the chairs and played Summer Games on our phones, fun! My father met us there 'cause he wanted to visit his father. His urn was situated rather far from where we were. And there's this urn with the picture and name of the dead-person-to-be which was covered with some red paper. My father said it was for my grandmother. What the hell, why prepare these kind of things so early? I don't know whether my father was bluffing, he really likes to brag and blabber rubbish.
Then my grandfather suddenly wanted to spit his phlegm, so Aunt Jenny got him a plastic bag and he accidentally spit on her finger. That was really gross but Aunt Jenny showed no resentment. After that a monk came to chant some sutras. He looked pretty much like a scammer, so Weihui was chanting her Christian sutra, self-created. As the temple does not provide lift services, my grandfather either had to walk on his own (which took him a lot of effort) or let us lift him on his wheelchair. In the end we, or maybe everyone else except me, helped lift the wheelchair and my grandfather was really scared that we'd drop him. No!
My father went off to work again, how lame. We sent grandfather and Aunt Jenny home and went upstairs to sit around a while. But not long after my grandfather felt pain somewhere in his chest or something so we left him to rest and we had to go. Aunt Jenny walked us to the door, tears were welling up in her eyes already. I didn't want to stare at her, it'd cause embarrassment so I walked away. Aunt Grace's eyes were red too. Really sad, so emotional.
We went to fetch Weiyi from her house, while waiting for her to come down to the void deck, my mother called up my grandfather's long not contacted son. My family's history is really complicated. My grandfather had three wives/ girlfriends (including the current one) while my grandmother had three husbands/ boyfriends. I thought people of the past were traditional? And now I have a lot of step relatives. Not gonna bother to identify them. We're a family. By the way, my mother found her step brother's contact number from the Internet. He's now a shareholder of a law firm, how successful! My mother then called my grandfather's previous girlfriend. They visited him really soon after the notice. Haha, did I mention that Aunt Grace and my mother did lots of practising of how to speak to my step uncle and step grandmother? Really funny. Me and Weihui laughed our asses off.
Weiyi came down and our mothers dropped us at Tampines Mall to catch The Chronicles of Narnia 1. Our mothers went to shop. The movie was really nice, but we got the 4th row from the screen. There was this I-assume woman from some other country who talked really loud in the theatre like it was her first time watching a movie. Freaking irritating.
After the movie we went to my grandmother's house to watch a drama show on Channel 8. Talked a lot, bonded with each other. And we did some funny videos, really would want to upload it but I'm lazy to dismantle my phone and get the memory card out. Had lots of fun!
All transport with Aunt Lillian's car, very useful eh!
Yeah this morning I woke up at 7AM and now I'm having a headache. Had to go back to school to prepare for dumb Secondary One CCA Orientation. Spent six hours in the Art Room making souvenirs for the Seconary Ones, and cleaning the room. Really tired after all that. The leaders called everyone to ask why they didn't go for the farewell, luckily I reached home late last night. I don't like to entertain people related to Art Club. So today we were literally the labourers of Mah Tong (Mr Mah and Miss Tong). We had to clean shelves, sweep floor, wipe tables, carry chairs etc. My mother fetched Beatrice home and then we met up with my father and sister for dinner at Downtown East's Different Tastes. We haven't been there for a very long time since we found a cooked cockroach in the curry fish head, haha! Before that incident we always went there for dinner. Wanted to go buy some clothes but my father didn't want to, so we landed at home. Pretty fine I guess.
Tomorrow we (my mother, sister, Weiyi, Weihui and Aunt Grace) are going to accompany my grandfather and Aunt Jenny to the hospital to see the doctor and see if he's getting any better. I really hope he does. Now he has fulfilled his wishes of eating Bak Kut Teh, meeting his long not contacted sons. He still has one more, and that's not being greedy. He wants the whole family to go to Shanghai again like we did (but without Aunt Grace, Weiyi and Weihui!) when I was five years old. Oh my, eight years back. And to do that, he must get well. Speedy recovery to my grandfather!
